Borivali to Pune by Cab

I went to Borivali last weekend. While returning back from Borivali to Pune, we started at 3.30pm for Borivali bus stand. I had to reach before 8.30pm so thought of coming by cab.
I searched on google for borivali pune cab service.
There was mobile number available for most of the search result websites.
I called on one mobile available on 7mcars.com and person told me that total fare would be Rs. 2400 including toll. Cab will come in 30 minutes once you confirm by sending sms.
After reaching Borivali station, I called him again to confirm my booking. Cab came in 20-25 minutes.
It was really good experience of quick service by Cab booking facility. They confirmed booking on phone and sent cab on time.
I will definately suggest if you are in hurry and want to opt for cab option while travelling between Mumbai-Pune.

Indian football - Sunil Chhetri is now India's top goal scorer

Good news in Indian football. Yesterday on 19th Nov 2013, India won 2-0 against Nepal at Siliguri. Sunil Chhetri scored his 43rd goal for India in first half to get past Baichung Bhutia.
Baichung Bhutia is the one who brought some attention to football in cricket crazy country. Even i started following football because of him.
Beating Bhutia's record is great achievement. Well done Sunil.
We want to see Indian team again in top 100 list in next 2 years and in world cup in next 10 years. Praying for the best.

God retires from Cricket

Last week, on 16th Nov 2013, Sachin Tendulkar retires from all formats of International cricket after playing his 200th Test match against West Indies.
It was very emotional moment for every sachin fan.
Thank you Sachin Tendulkar  for all the memories you have given to us during these 24 years.
On the same day when he retires, Sachin got highest civilain award of India "Bharat Ratna".
There was campaign on twitter to get digitally signed photo of sachin when u tweet "@BCCI #ThankYouSachin".

Duniyadari : Very nice movie

Yesterday on 25th August, I have seen marathi movie "Duniyadari". It was a treat. Great movie.
For last two weeks, i tried to book ticket a day before weekend and it was always housefull at Big cinema chinchwad and Vishal E-square for afternoon and evening shows on saturday and sunday.
This week, i brought ticket on thursday online. Movie was housefull.
I have read book on which the movie is based on but there are few changes in the movie which are good.
Great acting by everyone.
Ankush chaudhari has got chance to play a different role and he has done great job. Swapnil joshi is also good as a lover boy and also acted nice in emotional scenes.
This movie is milestone for these two actors.
Sai tamhankar is surprise package of a movie. The best role she has done till date.
Songs are good and when "deva tuzya" song starts, it is peak point of the movie what i felt.
Everyone must watch this movie.

Online shopping experience - Flipkart and Amazon

Last week, I purchased 3 books online, 1 on Amazon and 2 on Flipkart.
Here is my experience about order delivery:
I ordered Java Concurrency In Practice on 19th August on Amazon . I got email on 21st August that order has been shipped. Though order is shipped, there is no shipping details available to track the order. Yet to receive book as of today (24th August).
Update: Finally I received book yesterday on 27th August.

Next day (On 20th August), I ordered Effective Java 2nd Edition and Java? Puzzlers: Traps, Pitfalls, And Corner Cases 1st Edition on Flipkart. I got email about shipment of item on same day. Shipment details are also available so that it is easy to track order. Next day evening, I received books. I was surprised and very happy with quick delivery by Flipkart. Last time when I ordered book on Flipkart, it was sent by Speed Post and took around 3-4 days. This time books were sent by BlueDart courier. BlueDart is even faster than speed post in delivering order.

Great news for Indian Badminton

PV Sindhu created history by reaching semi final of woman's single in world badminton championship. She will be first woman to win medal in singles from India.
She beat chinese player 21-18, 21-17.
Congratulation to P.V. Sindhu.
Hope she will win the championship.
Update: Unfortunately Sindhu lost in semi-final and settles for a bronze medal.

Tata photon online payment experience

I always prefer to pay my tata photon bill online using netbanking. I use tata docomo website to pay the bill.
On 25th July 2013, I paid my current month bill online on their website as last date for payment was 28.
I did not note down transaction number after confirmation as i had paid bill many times using same facility and never noted it.
On 27th, I received pending bill intimation by sms so i got confused. I verified payment history on their website and july's bill was still in pending status. There was no payment confirmation email and I didn't even noticed it.
Yesterday, I called tata photon customer care and informed them my issue. They told me to email it with bank statement details. I immediately mailed them.
Customer care person contacted me in the afternoon to confirm few details and assured me that issue will get resolved soon. Around 1-2 hrs later, i got sms that payment has been received by tata photon and they will resolve it.
In the evening, i got email confirmation of payment and also sms regarding same.
Good service by tata photon customer care people to resolve issue quickly.

Prime minister's national relief fund contribution delay in confirmation

In Uttarakhand tragedy last month, many people lost their near and dear ones, many locals lost their home. Salute to army who fought bad weather and rescued almost one lakh people who were stuck in floods.
I also felt bad like every indian and wanted to do something for the people who suffered. It was not possible to do much and only option available was to contribute small amount which I can donate.
I thought of helping by contributing towards prime minister's relief fund. My contribution is very small considering the damage done by this tragic incident.
On 1st July 2013, I made small contribution of Rs. 2000 by paying online. I got email confirmation of the payment. They have stated in mail that transaction confirmation will take 1-2 days and I will receive printed receipt by mail on my address within 15-20 days.
Last week, I was checking payment history on PMNRF website and status of my payment was still "Pending 
(Confirmation awaited from bank)". I contacted them for payment status using Contact Us form on website but no reply yet.

Marathi Natak : Eka Lagnachi Goshta

20 July 2013: Today morning, I booked ticket of marathi natak "Eka Lagnachi Goshta" at Ramkrishna More Theater at Chinchwad.
After almost a year, i would be watching Marathi natak. Prashant damle is king of Marathi theater and I have seen his earlier show of Bahurupi few years back.
This week is very happening in terms of Marathi Film industry as marathi movie "Duniyadari" is released.
I was confused whether to watch movie or natak, but I preferred to watch Prashant damle's show as I can watch movie next weekend.
Eka Lagnachi Goshta is very famous natak.
I will update once i watch it tomorrow.

22 July 2013: Very nice performance by both Prashant Damle(Manya) and Kavita Lad-Madhekar(Mani) equally supported by other actors.  I am happy that i got chance to watch it. This natak is all about story of two people who fell in love and their life before & after marriage. Nice comedy along with emotions, fights, misunderstanding between husband-wife, mother-in-law and daughter-in-law. Story is good and good thing is that it ends on a happy note (Sukhant).
"Khara sanga sukh mhanaje kay asata" and "Ti Pari aasmanachi" songs are also nice.

RTI online portal

Today while searching about details related to RTI (Right to Information) on Google, I found that there is government website available where you can register and apply for online RTI application.
Link to website is: http://rtionline.gov.in/

You can register on this website and activate your account by entering activation key received on your email.
Currently there are 27 Ministries/Departments available where you can file RTI application using online portal. You can pay RTI fee online using net-banking or credit card.

I have registered today on this website and activated my account. I have not yet tried RTI application but will surely submit my first RTI application using this online facility once I have detailed idea about what information I should ask for which is useful.

Everyone should use this portal to find out useful information.

Medical Examination TPA procedure for LIC term insurance

Earlier I gave details of Planning to buy Term Insurance from LIC. One of my friend's sister is LIC agent.
But she is staying in Ahmednagar. I told my plan to buy insurance to my  friend and he discussed it with her.
I have been told of the procedure for buying insurance, required documents. My friend brought LIC offer form when he went to nagar on weekend.
I filled the form and submitted self attested xerox of all required documents and also one more form stating that I can not personally go to LIC's nagar office and my agent will submit the form on my behalf.
I was told that there will be one medical test after form submission. Next week, my friend brought Form with one more TPA medical exam form along with all the documents which I have to submit to hospital which will conduct medical test. I asked my agent to give me hospital which is in Chinchwad or Nigdi area as it is convenient for me.
Centre for TPA medical test as per my request was Just for Heart Health Care in Chinchwad.
I went there on Saturday, 6th July in morning and submitted the documents. Doctor asked me whether I had any food in morning. I had breakfast in morning so She told me to come on Monday as medical test to be carried out are without eating any food.
So I went for test on monday. They have asked me about my medical history and also of my family.
They have Conducted following tests:

• Blood, Urine test. 
• Blood pressure
• Height and weight
• Hand and leg movement to check if any problem
• Hip and waist measurement

TPA centre will send my Offer form to required office for further processing and it will take around 10-15 days to complete the whole procedure.

I will update once I get more information regarding it.

Cng price in chinchwad, pune up by 6 Rs. in year

One year back, I bought my Cng car (Wagon-r).
Cng price in pcmc was 39 Rupees at that time. Since then it is increased 3 times during last year.
First increased to Rs. 41.50, then to Rs. 43.
From 1st of July 2013, it is again increased from 43 to 45.
If it continues to increase at the same rate, people's preferance to buy cng car will go down as fuel economy is most important factor for buying cng car or converting to cng option.
Lets see what happen.

Update on redemption of Tax saving Mutual funds of year 2010

Earlier I had given details of investment made in tax savings mutual funds in year 2010 and recently in early 2013.
Three year locking period was completed In January 2013 for all the investments done in 2010.
My observation during these three years:
1. Fixed deposit or PPF is better option for tax saving.
2. ELSS mutual fund returns are not good. Instead it is better to invest in PPF for tax saving purpose.
3. Investing in Good stocks if you want to get benefit of appreciation from stock market as Good stocks will give returns better than ELSS Mutual funds as there is additional cost involved in mutual funds like fund management, employee cost, commissions etc.

Speed post by Indian post is best

I ordered cheque book through net banking. Usually it is delivered by courier in 2-3 days.
I got sms from ING that cheque book is dispatched through Shree Maruti courier services. But when i checked the details on their article tracking website, status was RETURNED due to short address.
I receive all my mails, couriers on same address. I doubt whether they tried to deliver it.
I sent them email for the same and they replied regretting and saying that next time, they'll take care.
I got call from ING bangalore office that cheque book is returned due to address not found. They confirmed the address on phone and told me that they are resending it by Speed Post.
Cheque book was delivered from Bangalore on 19th June and today(21st June), I received my cheque book.
In morning, i checked Indian post website for status of my cheque book and status was "sent to rupeenagar post office from pune".
I thought that it will get delivered tomorrow but to my surprise, I just received it at 6.30pm.
Very happy with service of Speed Post service of Indian Post.
Experience of Shree Maruti courier was worst and i will never suggest it to anyone. Don't know why ING preferred them first while delivering my cheque book.

South africa again lost in semifinal

South africa again lost in semifinal. This time in Champion's trophy cricket tournament. They played very badly. Comprehensive win by England.
It all started badly for south africa with Dell steyn rested due to fitness issue and they also lost toss.
Anderson, tredwell bowled well to reduce them to 175.
Trott, Root batted brilliantly to make it one side affair.

Planning to buy Term Insurance plan

I am planning to buy Term insurance.
SBI life and LIC were 2 options in my mind when i decided to buy term plan. I have searched on SBI life website and Online option is available on their website. But after searching more on web, i found that  ICICI Prudential and Hdfc Life are among the top private insurance companies. One of my close friend has bought ICICI term plan online so ICICI was also one new option in my preferred list.
Finally I decided to go with LIC term plan and reliability of LIC was the deciding factor to go with them.
I have decided to opt "AMULY JEEVAN - 1" plan of LIC of 30 Lacs for term of 30 years.
I will give details once all process is complete.

Trip to Malvan, Tarkarli

We went on trip to Tarkarli in May. We started from Gadjhinglaj in the afternoon and reached Tarkarli around 6.30pm. Beach is great. One of the best beach that i have visited. We enjoyed at beach for about half an hour and then went to search for room to stay for family.
There are many options available. We stayed at "Pandurang Nivas" which is MTDC approved hotel. Parking is available at resort. We booked 2 room and rent was 600/- per room. Overall experience at hotel was good.

In morning, we went to beach again for 2-3 hrs. After coming back and finishing breakfast, we checked out from room and went to Devbag sangam for some water sports for kids.
Then we went to Sindhudurg fort. There are boats available to take you to fort from Malvan. It takes around 2 hours to visit Sindhudurg fort (1 hour to see fort and 1 hour journey to fort and back to malvan by boat).

We came back in the evening via amboli.
It was nice experience.

Intraday trading : 6 May 2013

Today, there was no clear idea which way the market will move. Banking stocks opened in negative. Asian market was in positive so I was doubtful that Nifty may go up after opening.
I bought 20 Axis Bank shares at 1446 in that anticipation when that stock was falling. Luckily it reversed from where I bought it (with low of 1445).
I placed sell order for 10 Shares at 1450 to book small profit instead of waiting. It got executed within 5 minutes.
But Axis bank again started moving down and came to 1447 so I placed sell order of 5 each at 1451 and 1452.60. Within 5 minutes those 2 orders also got executed and it moved upto 1158.
I thought, it will come down so I placed sell order of 10 shares at 1159.60 and it got executed immediately and still stock was moving up. So I added sell position by 5 at 1162.50.
I added 5 more at 1166.10. and placed buy order of 5 shares at 1157 and one more buy order of 5  shares at 1456.25.
Axis share was moving between 1460-1465 for few minutes so i was bit worried. But luckily it fall sharply and both my buy orders got executed.
So now i was having only short position of 10 shares. I put buy order of 1454 for 10 shares.
But suddenly it started moving up and went above 1465. I added 5 mor at 1470 and cleared it immediately at 1464 because it was very volatile and if it moves up then i was at risk.
Still buy order of 10 shares at 1454 was open. Axis bank stock was above 1463 for half an hour. I was doubtful whether it is upward breakout.
But suddenly it fall and came below 1460. I modified buy order for 5 shares at 1455.30 at it got executed immediately after 12 p.m.
Now i was having only 5 shares which got squared of at 1454 after an hour.

Good day again which ended in profit.
I will update final details after brokerage and taxes once i get mail from sharekhan.

Intraday trading : 3 May 2013

Today RBI credit policy was going to announce so it was risky to do intraday trade. I was thinking of shorting 20 shares of Axis bank in morning when it was around 1504, but refrain from it due to risk. It would have been good if I had done it as Axis bank went down to 1470.
I shorted Reliance infra and Reliance Capital after credit policy was declared. I shorted both the stocks

As market was volatile, I squared off both positions with small profit. Both stocks fall in afternoon and my profit would have been more than 500 if i had waited.
But you can not predict in volatile market and on another day if i waited, i would have been in loss also.
Good day again which ended in profit again.

You can catch boat from Dighi which is 15km from Diveagar. It takes 30 minutes to reach Janjira from there. Person from boat will guide you to see fort for 50 Rs. Per person and it takes around  an hour to see major points on fort. Same boat will carry you back to Dighi.

Intra-day trading experience

Last few days, I am doing small amount of intraday trading occasionally. New plan for new financial year.
Luckily, no loss till date. I was expecting loss today but axis bank fell after 10:30am. I shorted 30 at average price of around 1464 and it went up after that up to 1480. It went down and i booked profit at around 1456.
I am not trading daily because daily trading is very risky. I shorted axis today because it was continuously going up. My trade was going wrong within few minutes but luckily went into profit. Today i traded after more than a week

Update : 2 bhk flat near Chinchwad

On Sunday 7th April 2013, I along with my friend again went to look for flat on spine road.
He had already shortlisted one property - Pote dreams on Spine road.
We have seen 2 properties on near spine city that day. Rate was around 4400/sq feet.
He was very confused because there were not many amenities available in all these schemes as these schemes were small.
On Gudi Padawa, there was ad in Sakal by "Aishwaryam Comfort". They have launched new phase. He along with his family went for inquiry and decided to book a flat.
In evening, he went there for booking. I along with one of my friend also joined him. Aishwaryam was best option available for him and sample flat layout, flooring quality, overall quality of sample flat was excellent. Those people assured us that quality of actual flat will be same or even better and not to worry about it.
Finally he booked garden facing 2 bhk flat on 5th floor and submitted booking cheque. Possession is in Dec 2015. But we heard from few people that Aishwaryam is very good regarding possession promise and they have given possession in phase-I even before time.

Google Play Books: Nice android App on Google play

I found new android app on Google Play from Google i.e. Google Play Books.
Day before yesterday I downloaded "Play Books" application by Google on my mobile. I love to read books so this was very good app to use. You can just tap the book and start reading.
I searched for free books on google play and found "Adventure of Sherlock Holmes". I downloaded it and started reading in free time. It is very nice book and must read if you like detective stories.

Hotel sawantwadi at dadar

I was working in mumbai five years back. I used to catch indrayani express on sunday evening after spending weekend at home in Pune. One of my college friend used to come with me sometimes as he was also in Mumbai. After reaching dadar at aound 10pm, our favorite place for dinner was hotel sawanwadi near kaburarkhana in dadar.
Reason: affordable and non-veg.
It is good option if you like non-veg and also an affordable option. It is small hotel and not comfortable for family.
You can get many options if you like fish. My preferance was fish most of the time while my friend like mutton plate.
We also tried chicken and it was also good.
And finally "Solkadhi". Complete non-veg treat.
I never got chance to go to mumbai for last 4 years after i joined in pune so don't have any idea about the latest.
I am planning to go to mumbai and have food again there. Lets see when i go there again.
Will update when i go but i will suggest to definately try there once. And i am sure you will like the food.

Income Tax return - Different Experience

I changed job in December 2008 and moved to Pune. I joined small company called Maniks Systems.
Till December 2008, Total Rs. 826 was deducted in Avenues as Tax at source. At Maniks, there was no deduction of Income tax as per Salary from Mid December to March 2009. But if total salary income at Avenues is also considered then i was eligible to pay more tax. I was not aware of all these income tax stuff that time.
Next year, I joined Tieto and submitted Form 16 by Maniks as per request by Tieto. My tax deduction was done properly by Tieto considering Salary of Maniks as well during Financial year 2009-10.
Now I realized that during last year(2008-09), Tax deduction was not correct and i should pay some tax. I searched on net regarding the same and came to know that I can pay self assessment tax.
I didn't have salary slips of Maniks (for month of December2008-March 2009) as I got last 3 months Salary slip at the time of relieving in January 2010.
I decided to do simple calculation (even though i was going to pay more tax). My salary at Maniks was 30000 per month. I joined in mid December.
Details of Salary received (Only deduction was professional tax)
Dec 08 : 13800/-
Jan 09 : 29800/-
Feb 09 : 29800/-
Mar 09 : 29800/-
Total Income = Rs. 103200/-

I was having Form 16 from Avenues for year 08-09 and Income chargable under head Salaries was Rs. 176081/-
Deduction done at Avenues: 34191/- (LIC premiums till December)

I calculated Total Income as Income in Maniks + Income as head salaries in Avenues
103200+176081 = 279281/-
Here I was at loss as I have not considered any deductions for salary at Maniks (like Travel allowance, medical, HRA).
My total LIC premium for year was 37014/-
I was also paying for my education loan and got interest details from bank which was = 2034/-
So I filled ITR as

I paid Rs. 11133/- as self assessment tax using Axis bank online tax payment faciltiy and Filed Income tax return and posted to Bangalore office.

I received Income tax intimation notice by post under section U/S 143(1) In September 2010 for the same.
By Mistake, Income tax office did not considered Self assessment tax paid by me and asked me to pay Rs. 11301/- (with interest).
I paid my tax properly still i received tax intimation so i was very confused. I mailed them details of my tax payment but did not got any reply. I contacted Bangalore office and they told me to send my reply by post if i have already paid the amount with necessary documents as proof.
I searched on net for details how to reply to tax intimation letter. I sent them my reply with Subject as "Rectification as per section 154" by post with necessary documents. (self assessment tax paid receipt, form16 of Avenues, Tax intimation letter, ITR details).

After few months, my ITR status was updated as No demand/No Refund on income tax website.

New trend - Online shopping

Online shopping is growing here in India and is starting to become a new trend especially in younger generation. There are many websites like flipkart, ebay, olx, yebhi.

Many of my friends and colleague are using online shopping regularly in last one year. Mostly they buy books, cloths or shoes. One of my friend even bought Samsung mobile online.

These shopping websites carry out regular offers and deals to increase sale. They send you regular email updates of new offers. These offers are the main source of purchase among my friends. There is cash on delivery option available.

I have also used online shopping few months back (on 19th Aug 2012) to buy thermometer on ebay. The seller was techguru india. I got order confirmation mail immediately with seller details from ebay (PaisaPay which is ebay's payment service). 2 days later (21 Aug 2012), I got email that Seller has shipped my order and next day (22 Aug 2012) i received my order by Courier. Everything was smooth and i like this online shopping process.

Flipkart is most popular shopping site among the people i know and most of them shop on flipkart.
I have also used Flipkart for purchasing books. Check image of Order confirmation once you complete your payment.

There is some background why I like this growing trend of online shopping.
When I started my career in IT, I joined an e-commerce company (Avenues India Pvt. Ltd., Mumbai) as a fresher. They are one of the largest payment gateway in India providing payment facility to many websites.

We must take care of few things while shopping online.
1. Always check whether payment site is secure or not (https).
2. Always buy on well known website.
3. Check website address while entering your bank or credit card details.

Problem for ECS activation

I opted ECS for my car loan. Car loan is with State bank of India, Chinchwad and ECS from Ing vysya bank. After completion of  loan processing , i collected ECS form from SBI on 30th June 2012. As EMI amount on documents was mentioned as 11500, i submitted form in ING with same detail and one copy to SBI.

Due to some technical problem, ECS debit was not activated in SBI  and i had to pay by net banking.
In October I went to SBI branch and asked for status of ECS activation. They told that it will be activated next month and asked me  to again pay by cheque or online. They verified my account and told me that EMI is 11501. And you paid Rs. 11500/- last three months so this time pay 11504.
I paid Rs. 11504/- by net banking again.
In November also ECS was not activated so again i paid by net-banking.
 In December, SBI informed that ECS is activated when i went to branch and this month it will be executed. On 12th December, ECS was executed when I logged into to SBI CAR loan account online but my ING account was not debited. There was ECS returned details in SBI account online dated 15th Dec. (return code = 5)  I got sms from SBI that ECS returned due to insufficient funds. There was enough balance in my account. I went to branch for confirmation and they informed that there may be some technical issue as they were also not sure. They asked me to wait till 20th Dec. I again paid using net-banking on 21st Dec.

In January, ECS was again executed but got reversed on 15th. I paid amount again. As ECS was not executed second time, i started thinking what may be the issue. I searched online the meaning of return code 5 and found the meaning as exceeds arrangements.

 I was doubtful that amount difference (ECS form with 11500 and actual ECS of 11501) may be the issue. So i went to ING branch at FC road. They confirmed that actual ECS amount should not greater than the details provided while activating ECS. They provided me one form for amount correction. I submitted the form to ING. ECS correction charges (around RS. 50) got deducted from my ING account.
On 12th February, my ING account is debitted with Rs. 11501. I was very much relieved when i got the message. This was first time i opted for ECS so i was very much new to all these things. (ECS may not get executed if actual ECS amount is more). I was only aware that if there is insufficient balance in account, ECS  is not getting executed and some fine is charged for ECS failure. In my case there was no Fine as i had enough balance in my account. So I was very confused why it is not getting executed.
I am sharing this because it may be helpful to someone.

Searching Flat near Spine Road, Chinchwad for my Friend's in-laws

Today afternoon, one of my friend came to my house and asked me to accompany him to search for flat.
His father in law has planned to buy a 2 or 3 BHK flat in PCMC in next 1-2 months (ready possession) and asked him to check for details.
He has shortlisted area near spine road from Shivtej Nagar to Indrayani nagar on Spine road, Chinchwad, Pune.
First, we went to Woodsville by Pharande Builders. 3 BHK Ready possession flat with area around 1300 sq. feet (available in next 3 months) was available in Phase I on 12th floor. Rate per Sqft. = Rs. 4400/-.
 Total cost of flat was around 70 Lacs.
We went to one scheme near Spine City, Indrayani nagar and Rate per Sqft was 4551/-.
Rate was around 3700-4000 for Local builders with no major amenities for most of the places where we enquired.
He will again go next Sunday to few more places.  I'll update regarding the same and final decision of his in laws in my followup post.

Three years back i have invested in Tax saving scheme and locking period of all those investment is complete. I have invested in too many schemes that time with small amount in all investments.

Reliance tax saver fund is the best performing fund among the funds which i invested. So this time also I choose it for investing. Instead of investing in too many funds, i decided to invest only in 2 funds.
After doing some study, I decided to invest in Axis Tax saver as second option.

Travel: Visit to Chitri Dam - Ajara, Kolhapur during Diwali

During Diwali, I visited Chitri Dam in Ajara. After many years, I went to Ajara.
On Thursday, 15th Nov 2012, after having Lunch , We went to Chitri Dam.

It is around 15 KM from Ajara. There is road connectivity available and you can take your own vehicle.


It is very good place.






 Enjoyable experience for childrens. Sharing photo of Shivam and Sakshi (My Nephew and Niece) enjoying at Dam.

Opening PPF (Public Provident Fund) account in SBI

As financial year is coming to an end, tax savings options like PPF, ELSS mutual fund, insurance etc are main topics of interest for Salaried person like me.
Few days back, I went to State bank of India bank (SBI), Chinchwad branch to open PPF account. After enquiring, I came to know that you need SBI Savings account in any Branch for opening PPF account.
As I was not having SBI savings account, I completed all formalities to open savings account that day. I was told that I will get SMS when account opening process is complete (within 2-3 days).
I did not get SMS for more than one week so I went to SBI branch. Account was still not activated. They have activated it in front of me.
I collected Pass Book by depositing amount in my Account.

Next, I collected PPF form and came back Home. Today (9th Jan 2013) I am going to complete PPF account opening procedure.

Updating procedure to open account (now after opening PPF account in SBI). It was very smooth process.
To open PPF (Public Provident Fund) account in State bank of India bank (SBI),
1. You need savings account in any of the SBI branch.
2. Collect PPF account opening Form (It is one page form ) from SBI branch which is having PPF account facility.
3. Documents Required

• 2 Photos (1 on PPF form and 1 on account Passbook)
• Pan Card Xerox (Original also required for verification)
• Address Proof Xerox (Electricity Bill, Passport with Current address etc.) with originals

4. Fill PPF form. On Nominee details page, witness details also need to be filled. (Witness Name, address, signature). Witness can be your family member, friend.
5. Verify PPF form and documents.
6. After verification, PPF account opening procedure starts . (Entering form details in Bank system)
7. Once you get PPF account number, fill PPF slip to deposit money in account.
8. Collect PPF Passbook by showing PPF payment slip to passbook counter.

Second Servicing of Wagon R CNG Yesterday

I had given our new Wagon-R CNG for second servicing yesterday at Wonder Cars, Chinchwad. It was a very smooth process.
My appointment was at 11.00 AM, but as i planned to go for one of my friend's Marriage, I went to service center at around 10.20AM. At reception, they verified my appointment details and asked me to sit for 5-10 mins. Within 5 minutes they arranged one Service person to complete Service sheet. All process completed at 11.00 AM and they informed that i'll get call when Car is ready. They arrange drop facility if required but as I planned to go for marriage so I came with my friend who brought Bike to Service center. I asked him that I need car in evening before 5PM. He told that he will call as soon as Car is ready.

In Afternoon, around 2.15, I got call from Service center that my car is ready. I went there at around 2.40 and within 15 mins, all process was complete and Second servicing of my car was Complete after verifying the Car. It was a Free servicing and they did not charged me anything.

It was very good and smooth experience.

Second Servicing of Wagon R CNG

Completing 6 Months on 12th Jan 2013 for our Wagon R.
So Second servicing is due. I was planning to go for servicing on 5th Jan.
On Saturday (30th Dec), I got call from showroom to remind about second servicing. I informed them about my plan for servicing on 5th Jan. Person who called inquired suitable timing for which i informed 11.00 am in morning. She booked my appointment on 5th Jan 2013 at 11.00am for servicing. I am very happy about service by Maruti Suzuki.
Looking forward to second servicing of my Car on 5th Jan and will update the details.
